Hello Lovebugs and welcome back after our (well-deserved!) holiday-break! KNAGUI was still there with you while I was taking sun on the beach and relaxing after a crazy busy year!
Still, I left some posts pending before going on holiday and I want to start from where I left you. Actually, from where my last series started- my first day of holidays at home which was also, a wedding day for me!
It’s not easy to dress-up, especially when you try to pack light for vacation and have nothing terribly grown-up in your childhood closet. For this is the reason, I tried an experiment: re-create a real vintage outfit using what I could find in my mum’s wardrobe and pair it with my shoes and fascinator!
I only brought my new Prada sandals (from the outlet in Serravalle) and a new fascinator (very pin-up retro style) that I got in Milan at the Camomilla store, just for the occasion!
I found this simple, yet intriguing ’90s black dress with transparent details and I paired it with my grandma’s gold pendant and my mum’s suede and croc clutch.
Could it be more genuinely vintage than that?
Just for the record… the priest appreciated my outfit very much and he gave me the nickname of Miss Pinup… that was hilarious!
(I am sorry for the late night pics!)
