The Ladybug + a long bomber jacket: back to the 80’s!

Last December I was in H&M in Milan with a friend of mine: we were just hanging around and having a look before the winter sales to find something interesting to buy at a reduced price. We passed by a navy long bomber jacket and he said: “Wow that’s great! You should try it”. I answered that bomber jackets are not my style, I feel shorter and fatter with them and a long one would just be a nightmare! He insisted that I just tried it, maybe in a smaller size, to see how it looked like and so I did.

I wasn’t convinced at all to spend 70 euros for a long bomber jacket and I just left it there.

When I came back home I started thinking of that jacket again: I have never owned a bomber in my life, the style was having a huge comeback and maybe it could suit my style…so I started being like “Why not?” And it is so 80’s!

The “why not” became a “YES!” when I found it again in January for only 30 euros! 30 euros were enough to convince me to give it a try!

Now I am totally in love with my long bomber jacket and I use it with heels or flats and I still adore the style! It is so warm (it has furry lining) and I feel like when I was 15 and I didn’t wear bombers because I thought I looked fatter and shorter! It’s so liberating!

I wore it here at the countryside with a very sporty look: a knitted grey sweater from Please, Acne Studios skinnies and Zara laced boots. I added a big Manila Grace scarf and handmade brass earrings from Metalica Creazioni.
